There are a variety of ways to spend a spooky time York over Halloween. This month, we let you know how make the best of the season!
The York Dungeon
From 1st to 31st October, strange things are happening at the York Dungeon. Watch out as you journey through York’s darkest history in the depths of the Dungeon, with twists and turns to keep you screaming for more as Isabella Billington unleashes her Hex.
Head down to York Dungeon for their Halloween show or Trick and Treat Walking Tour.
The walking tour sees two of favourite dungeon residents, the ever so crazy and a little sarcastic Black Jester along with the repugnant peasant Smedley. Join them as they head out onto the streets of the city to lead you on a journey to discover York’s haunted history and a few ghostly secrets along the way.
This Halloween Trick & Treat Walking Tour will be full of surprises and will horrify & delight all the family.
You will visit well-known landmarks whilst learning about the history of York. This city has surprises lurking everywhere and the Black Jester and Smedley will bring the shadows of the dungeons to the streets making Halloween 2021 the spookiest season yet.
Tours will depart from outside The York Dungeon, see timings below:
- Saturday 9th, and 16th October – 4 tours (12:00, 1:30pm, 3pm & 4:30pm)
- Saturday 23rd to Sunday 31st October – 4 tours (12:00, 1:30pm, 3pm & 4:30pm)
